Growth
New York
May 8, 2008
IntraLinks(R), Inc., the leading provider of
online workspaces for secure document exchange, announced today
that its revenue grew 43 percent to $123 million in 2007 from $86.5
million in 2006, achieving its fifth consecutive year of double-digit
growth.
As a result of strong improvement in the company's
operating margins, EBITDA increased 65 percent in 2007. Major growth
drivers
included
new features to enhance the user experience and increased penetration
of existing worldwide markets, expansion into a broader corporate
audience, and rapid adoption in the energy, life sciences, financial
services and real estate industries. IntraLinks ended the year
with more than 700,000 users from more than 80,000 organizations
in 180 countries.
"I am extremely pleased with our achievements in 2007. Our
sustained growth, increased profitability and market acceptance
resulted in tremendous penetration within our key target markets
and an ever-expanding roster of partners and clients," said
J. Andrew Damico, president and chief executive officer of IntraLinks,
Inc. "We look forward to further solidifying our position
as the leading provider of online workspaces for the global, corporate
user."

milestones: TA Associates and Rho Ventures completed a majority
recapitalization
of IntraLinks; and, Andrew Pearson was named managing director
for Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA). IntraLinks also improved
its platform with enhanced features and functionality, including
the roll-out of Workspace Builder(TM) -- which streamlines the
workspace set-up process by giving clients a more powerful, intuitive
way to upload and organize large amounts of documents and Download
Wizard -- which enables users to download all of the items they
have access to in a particular workspace or folder en masse.
In
addition, IntraLinks was named exclusive provider of virtual
dataroom services for the Association of Corporate Counsel and
Quintiles Transnational, who have made IntraLinks On-Demand Workspaces
available to all members and clients. The company also signed
partnership agreements with the SAFE-BioPharma Association, Great
