Everdream Fuels Multi-Channel Sales Growth Strategy With Addition of Senior Sales Executive

Michael Menegay Joins Fast-Growing Leader in SaaS Desktop Management Services

Fremont, Calif.
April 10, 2007

Everdream, the market leader in delivering cost effective, low risk on-demand desktop management services, today announced the appointment of Michael Menegay as the company’s vice president of worldwide sales. In this capacity, Menegay is responsible for managing and expanding the company’s global sales; overseeing the company’s field sales, services and channel operations, and expanding Everdream’s relationships with regional and worldwide channel partners.

Everdream, an innovative Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) desktop management company, allows customers to manage their distributed IT environments via a single, integrated web-based console. With a simple Internet connection, Everdream provides real-time visibility and control for a broad range of software services, including asset management, software distribution, patch management, antivirus management, online backup and IT support services, so that all machines are protected, regardless of location. The company’s flexible “Try, Buy, Deploy” self-service model on Everdream.com, which brings increased speed and ease of deployment at a reasonable cost, ideally suits the needs of small to mid-market companies.

Menegay is a twenty-year technology industry veteran who is intimately familiar with the emerging SaaS market and brings a wealth of leadership experience from entrepreneurial as well as established technology companies to Everdream. His understanding of the channel, sales processes and best practices has enabled him to develop key relationships that drive fast and sustainable revenue growth.

Prior to joining Everdream, Menegay served as vice president of En Pointe Technologies, a high technology solutions provider based in El Segundo, CA. He also served as senior vice president of worldwide channels at Macromedia, and was senior vice president of North American channels at Network Associates (McAfee). He also held several sales executive and CEO positions throughout his career. Menegay is an entrepreneur who has launched and expanded several of his own successful business ventures, including one he founded and sold to Computerland Corporation in 1990 after building revenues from $0 to $100M in a span of six years; and, a field sales outsourcing firm he founded in 1995 and sold in 1998 handling such clients as IBM, Cisco and US Robotics. Menegay started his career at IBM.

“Everdream’s strong business and customer momentum has it positioned to become the go-to provider of desktop management solutions for the mid-market,” said Michael Menegay. “There is a huge opportunity here for Everdream to bring the advantages and benefits of SaaS to the desktop management, patch management, security and data storage market and make it easier and more cost-effective for companies and partners to manage and control IT assets.”

“Michael has shown a strong ability throughout his career to build world class sales teams and drive significant, long-term revenue growth in emerging markets,” said Mark Hoffman, CEO of Everdream. “Given his extensive experience and understanding of direct and indirect sales channels, Michael will be instrumental in helping Everdream expand its partner ecosystem and take full advantage of key strategic partnerships.”
