ATLANTA, GA April 13, 2005 Netifice Communications, Inc., a leading provider of flexible IP Virtual Private Network (VPN) solutions to businesses worldwide, today announced that Noodles & Company has selected Netifice to implement and manage its entire VPN for its corporate headquarters and all 100 restaurants. Noodles & Company chose Netifice to increase the types of applications its restaurants could access from headquarters and eliminate repetitive troubleshooting and support costs. “Netifice Retail Connect VPN provides a reliable, secure platform for all of our retail applications, including inventory management and credit card processing, while eliminating all of the hassles associated with operating and supporting a nationwide WAN,” said John Lauderbach, Noodles & Company’s VP Information Technology. “Netifice’s expertise in broadband VPNs made them a great choice for delivering a fullymanaged, network-based VPN solution.” Netifice’s single VPN platform will enable Noodles & Company to simplify its network administration processes and eliminate the time and effort that its employees would otherwise have to spend supporting their network. Previously, if a particular restaurant had an issue, the company first had to identify the provider and equipment that was used to support the specific location and then needed to determine if the issue was hardware or access related. If it was hardware related, the company needed to assign its own resources to resolving the issue. If it was access related, the company needed to contact the appropriate provider. Now, if an issue arises, the company simply calls Netifice to resolve it.
