< 2004 News Listings ON24 Names Chuck Ellison VP, Sales & Marketing By VentureWire Staff Reporters April 20, 2004 ON24 Inc., provider of Webcast and multimedia communication software for the enterprise, said it has named Chuck Ellison as vice president of sales and marketing. Ellison will be responsible for the company's sales and marketing strategy and will develop and manage the company's sales team. Most recently, he was an executive vice president at Camstar. Prior to Camstar, he held senior executive positions with Asymetrix, GTSI, Gupta Technologies, Ashton-Tate, and Microsoft. On24, which has headquarters in San Francisco, has raised $35 million from U.S. Venture Partners, Canaan Partners, Rho Ventures, Amicus, CNET Networks, Merrill Lynch and Reuters Group.
