Steve began working with Rho in the mid 1990s prior to joining as a Scientific Partner in 2001, and is the Evan Pugh Professor of Chemistry at Penn State University. He formerly headed the Scientific Advisory Board of GlaxoSmithKline and is a co-founder of Anacor Pharmaceuticals. In addition, he is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, the Institute of Medicine and the American Philosophical Society. His current and recent scientific advisory board seats include Senomyx, Solexa, Dihedron, Archemix, Odyssey Pharma, Cumbre, and Compound Therapeutics.
